Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his birth anniversary.

In a post on social media platform X, The Prime Minister wrote, “On his birth anniversary today, my tributes to former Prime Minister Shri Rajiv Gandhi Ji.”

Rajiv Gandhi, India’s sixth Prime Minister, served from 1984 to 1989. He is remembered for introducing technology-driven reforms and laying the foundation for India’s IT revolution. Born on August 20, 1944, he became the youngest Prime Minister of India at the age of 40.
