Prashant Kishor Demands Dismissal, Arrest of Bihar Dy CM Samrat Choudhary

Founder of Jan Suraj Prashant Kishor today demanded from Bihar government to immediately dismiss and arrest Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary accused of a murder case.
While talking to the news persons Kishor said here that Samrat Chaudhary was released from the jail in connection with a murder case bearing number 44/1995 related to killing of 7 people belonging to Kushwaha cast in Tarapur in the year 1995 on the plea of being minor for which a document was submitted before the chief judicial magistrate stating his date of birth as May one 1981.
He said that, however, in his affidavit submitted before the election commission in 2020 Chaudhary declared his age as 51 according to which he would have been 26 years old in the year 1995.
Kishor said that Chaudhary was inadvertently exonerated from the murder charges. Kishore requested the chief minister and the Governor to dismis Chaudhary who was insulting the constitutional post.
Kishore said if the Chief Minister did not initiate any action against Chaudhary, he would take a delegation within 2 to 3 days to the Governor.
He said that if government fails to dismiss and arrest Chaudhary, it should release every murder accused from the jail.
Jan Suraj leader further said that Samrat Chaudhary was also an accused in the most sensitive Shilpi Gautam rape and murder case which was probed by the CBI.
He threatened to expose the involvement of Chaudhary in this case with documentary evidences if Chaudhary fails to reveal the truth.
Launching a scathing attack on Bihar minister Ashok Choudhary, warning him to withdraw the Rs 100 crore defamation notice served against him within seven days and issue a public apology. Failing this, Kishor threatened to expose documents relating to alleged assets worth Rs 500 crore, in addition to approaching the Governor and the courts.
Kishor claimed that he had already presented evidence showing Choudhary’s alleged assets worth Rs 200 crore. “If Ashok Choudhary denies ownership of these properties, he should come forward with proof.
He further alleged that Ashok Choudhary’s department awarded contracts worth over Rs 20,000 crore in the past eight months, with a 5 per cent commission allegedly taken on each contract.
“Even after funds are released, an additional 0.5 per cent commission is charged. This is the same money that surfaced during recent raids on an engineer’s house,” Kishor alleged, promising to bring forward contractors who paid such commissions in his next press conference.
Kishor also targeted Manav Vaibhav Vikas Trust, questioning the acquisition of properties worth over Rs 100 crore.
He alleged that this purchase took place soon after the engagement of Choudhary’s daughter Shambhavi Choudhary with Sayan Kunal and demanded answers from Jiyalal Arya, Anita Kunal, and even the mother-in-law of Bihar Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, who are associated with this trust. They must explain how such huge assets were bought and reveal their account details,” Kishor said, warning them not to tarnish the name of late Kishore Kunal.
Responding to questions about the funding of his political platform, Kishor gave a detailed account of his income and donations.
Kishor said during the last three years, he earned Rs 241 crore through business consulting, paid Rs 30.95 crore in GST, and Rs 20 crore as income tax and out of the remaining donated Rs 98.75 crore to Jan Suraaj.
Kishor added that he had provided consultancy to several clients, including charging Rs 11 crore from Navayuga Construction for a two-hour session.
“This is the strength of knowledge, not corruption,” he said, stressing that Jan Suraaj is funded by his own hard-earned money.
“If required, I will work for the next ten years and even put my body on the line to raise funds, but Bihar will not be allowed to run on stolen politics,” he declared.
Kishor asserted that unlike other political parties, Jan Suraaj’s members contribute from their own resources before seeking donations from the public.
