Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann unveiled the official logo for state-level events to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, emphasizing a humble and befitting tribute to the ninth Sikh Guru, revered as ‘Hind Di Chadar’ (Protector of India).

Mann announced a series of events to mark this historic milestone, including Kirtan Darbars and Nagar Kirtans across Punjab. A grand Kirtan Darbar is scheduled in Delhi on October 25, followed by a major event at Sri Anandpur Sahib from November 23 to 25.

Four Nagar Kirtans will commence on November 20 from Jammu, Gurdaspur, Faridkot, and Takht Sri Damdama Sahib, converging at Sri Anandpur Sahib by November 22 evening.

The Chief Minister highlighted that these events, primarily hosted in Sri Anandpur Sahib, aim to promote Guru Ji’s teachings of secularism, humanism, and sacrifice.

He noted the Guru’s unparalleled sacrifice for religious freedom and human rights, emphasizing that his Bani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib advocates universal brotherhood, courage, and compassion.

Mann urged citizens to embrace harmony and social cohesion, reinforcing national and state unity.

The events seek to perpetuate Guru Ji’s legacy for future generations, with the state government committed to ensuring their success. Cabinet ministers, MPs, and senior officials attended the unveiling, underscoring its significance.
