Railways Runs Special Train to Ahmedabad for T20 World Cup Final

Indian Railways has announced a special train service from New Delhi to Ahmedabad to help cricket fans attend tomorrow's ICC Men's T20 World Cup final between India and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium — a decision driven by soaring airfares and acute ticket unavailability as fans scramble for last-minute travel options.
The special train will depart from New Delhi at 11:45 PM tonight and is scheduled to arrive at Sabarmati station in Ahmedabad at 2:30 PM tomorrow — giving passengers comfortable time to reach the venue ahead of the evening final. The service will comprise 19 coaches, including Second AC and Third AC accommodation, and will pass through Delhi Cantonment, Gurugram, and Jaipur en route to its destination.
With demand for travel to Ahmedabad surging in the build-up to what promises to be one of the most watched cricket matches in recent memory, air ticket prices have climbed sharply and seat availability has thinned considerably. Railways stepped in to provide an affordable and accessible alternative for fans who might otherwise have been priced out of attending the historic occasion in person.
