Rajnath Singh Hails NDA’s Bihar Landslide, Predicts Repeat Victory for BJP in Uttar Pradesh 2027

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh expressed his delight at BJP's impressive performance, including the NDA's landslide victory in Bihar Assembly polls, saying the results have brought about a major change in Indian politics.

"It (Bihar outcome) will be replicated in Uttar Pradesh in 2027 assembly polls," he said. "The hard work put in by party workers has led to Bihar landslide. The BJP, unlike other parties, does not engage in politics based on caste, creed, or religion. We work for the nation's security, pride, culture, and development," said the Defence Minister.

Singh was interacting with senior party workers and intellectuals at the Sanskrit Vidyalaya Hall in Sadar Cantt after his arrival from New Delhi on Saturday afternoon.

The Defence Minister said the people saw that the Bihar government is free from corruption and re-elected the NDA.

"The people of Bihar are also witnessing how the state is progressing under Nitish Kumar's leadership. India's reputation today is elevated globally," he said.

The Lucknow MP said, "Everyone talks about eliminating corruption, but no one has made any effort to address it. Corruption can only be curbed by systemic change, not through speeches. Only our Prime Minister has demonstrated that corruption can be eradicated."

The Defence Minister asked everyone in the gathering to honestly tell whether they saw any change in Lucknow over the past 10 years. "If honest work is done, change can definitely be achieved. Our resolve to make India a developed country will certainly be fulfilled, and this is our firm resolve," he claimed.

Rajnath Singh said that after Operation Sindoor, there is a worldwide competition to purchase Indian-made missiles and weapons. "Our situation has also improved. The BrahMos missile that performed wonders in Operation Sindoor was made in Lucknow," he said.

When Singh asked about the impact of the reduced GST rates on the market, trader Chetan Agarwal said the reduction in GST rates and the maximum rate being within the five percent range have brought significant benefits, leading to an increase in trade.

Chandra Kumar Valmiki on behalf of the Valmiki community thanked the Lucknow MP for the construction of Valmiki Chowk, built from the MPLADS fund, and also praised the construction of the STP and sewage system.

UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was also present on the occassion.
