The Sabka Samman-Jeevan Aasan (Ease of Living) program, under Saat Nishchay-3, was formally launched today. The program aims to listen to the problems of the general public and ensure prompt and effective resolution of complaints related to administrative processes. Public hearings will be held in all state departments and district-level offices every week on Mondays and Fridays. In the Home Department, the public hearings will be held at Sardar Patel Bhawan from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

During the public hearings, the department's Additional Chief Secretary, Mr. Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, along with other senior officials, will be present. In the Additional Chief Secretary's absence, other designated officials will hear the complaints of the complainants. The name, address, and details of all complainants attending the public hearing will be recorded in a register. Proper records of the number and nature of complaints received daily will be maintained. Complainants will be presented to the concerned official, where their problems will be heard and necessary instructions will be given to the relevant branch or officials for prompt resolution.

Detailed guidelines have been given by Special Secretary of Home Department, Mrs. K. Suhita Anupam for the smooth conduct of the programme, so that common citizens do not face any inconvenience during the public hearing. Earlier today at 11 am, through video conferencing, the Chief Minister's Secretariat imparted training to the concerned officials of all departments and district level offices through online presentation for the effective implementation of the programme. During the training, information was given about the process of registration on the specially prepared web portal sss.bihar.gov.in, uploading the details of complaints online and recording the updated status of action taken on the complaints.
