Self-Styled Godman Chaitanyananda Saraswati Sent Sleazy Messages to Women, Say Investigators

Disturbing details have emerged in the ongoing investigation against self-proclaimed godman Chaitanyananda Saraswati, who is facing serious allegations of sexual harassment and molestation at a management institute in Delhi. The case took a new turn after screenshots of sleazy WhatsApp messages allegedly sent by Saraswati to several women surfaced during the probe.
A Delhi court on Sunday remanded the accused to five days of police custody for further questioning. According to investigators, Saraswati sent inappropriate messages to multiple women, including one in which he addressed a woman as his “most beloved baby daughter doll.” In another purported chat, when a woman told him she was going to sleep, the godman replied, “Will you not sleep with me?”
In a separate exchange, he reportedly responded to a woman asking what he was doing by saying, “disco dance.” Another screenshot suggests he was asking a woman about arranging a sexual partner for a “Dubai sheikh.” Police believe these messages are key to understanding his overall pattern of behaviour and possible exploitation.
The leaked chats came to light shortly after Delhi Police took Saraswati and his female aides back to the institute for an on-site investigation. The move is part of a broader effort to uncover the extent of misconduct and pressure tactics allegedly used by Saraswati and his close associates.
According to officials, Saraswati has so far shown little cooperation during interrogation and has attempted to mislead investigators on multiple occasions. Police say he used technology to secretly photograph women at the institute and monitor students via a CCTV app. Lewd chats and surveillance of staff and students point to a disturbing level of control and manipulation, authorities added.
Saraswati was arrested in Agra on Sunday after being on the run for several days. Investigators have also detained his three female aides — sisters who held key positions at the institute. One was the Dean, while the other two worked as wardens. They allegedly threatened victims and forced them to delete incriminating messages.
The police say the contents of Saraswati’s seized phone reveal a troubling pattern of predatory behaviour, including secretly taken photos of students and staff, as well as images with female flight attendants and screenshots of women’s display pictures.
