A seminar on sexual harassment awareness was organised in Arya Samaj Party, a State Police operating under the Department of Science, Legal & Technical Education, Government of Bihar with the aim to educate students about their rights, safety measures and ways to prevent harassment.

Chief Guest, Sub-Inspector Kajal Kumari gave an impressive talk on sexual harassment, explaining the legal aspects, preventive measures and importance of reporting the incident. She also shared her contact number for the students to seek help whenever needed.

A plant was gifted to the chief guest as a symbol of respect and appreciation and as a symbol of commitment towards development, awareness and safe society. Nodal Officer of Sexual Harassment Committee, Ms. Pooja Bharti gave an insightful PowerPoint presentation covering key aspects of sexual harassment, legal protection and institutional support systems. She emphasized the role of awareness in ensuring a safe environment.

An important contribution to the event was made by Ms. Pooja Kumari, Chairman of the Internal Complaints Committee, who provided special support in organising the seminar. She worked closely with Ms. Pooja Bharti to ensure that the seminar was informative and effective and provided important insights on the support structures available to victims.

To carry forward the message, the students staged a thought-provoking play which depicted real-life scenes and the importance of speaking up against oppression. In addition, the poster presentations by the students gave a strong message advocating awareness and prevention in a creative way. Chaachi Ma'am and Komal Ma'am played the main role in organizing and guiding the program.

Their efforts helped in making the seminar attractive, educational and impactful for all present. The seminar concluded with the collective commitment of students and teachers to promote a safe and respectable campus. This initiative was highly appreciated and highlighted the importance of addressing such a serious social issue.
