South Delhi Hosts 'Operation Sindoor Shaurya Abhinandan Yatra' with 1,625 Participants Honoring Army Heroes

In an atmosphere filled with patriotic spirit, “Operation Sindoor Shaurya Abhinandan Yatra” was launched from South Delhi today. This special initiative has been taken with the aim of paying respect to the brave soldiers of the Indian Army, who displayed indomitable courage in the recent Pahalgam incident.
This yatra was organized by all sections of the society, in which the families of the martyrs, ex-servicemen, social workers, youth, mothers and sisters of all sections and citizens of all sections participated enthusiastically. The yatra was started from Chhatarpur Delhi Metro, where tributes were paid, patriotic songs were presented and heroic tales of brave soldiers and brave women were recited.
Total number was 1625. Ex-servicemen were welcomed and walked along the entire way.
Monica Arora, Supreme Court Advocate, everyone received her presence and address. Dr. Sunita Dahiya, Sunita Shukla, Om Prakash Bhaisahab, Sanjay Bhaisahab all conducted the stage.
Respected advocate Mrs. Monica Arora, while addressing the program, said: “Operation Sindoor was a wonderful display of India’s strength. It was an example of surgical strike on terrorist bases. It showed that India will not back down from any challenge. Women also fought bravely against the enemy in the arenas. Our own missile systems, such as ‘Akash’, stopped enemy attacks. India also showed its superiority in cyber warfare and information systems. Our army fired ammunition directly on the enemy’s stronghold. Our society should not only talk about salvation, but also remain united to protect India. We should respect the identity and religion of women We have to protect the country – this tricolour, this nation is our pride.”
“Our soldiers stand firm in the security of the country in every situation. The incident of Pahalgam reminds us of their sacrifice. This yatra is not just a tribute but a medium to teach the coming generations who is a true hero.”
“Sindoor” in the title of this yatra symbolizes women who lost their spouse, brother or son in the name of the country, and “Shaurya” shows the amazing courage that is the hallmark of India’s armed forces.
During the yatra, tribute ceremonies, photo exhibitions, dialogues with youth, and sharing of stories of soldiers will be held at various mohallas, parks and public places in South Delhi. Patriotic songs and plays will be performed by local artists.
The aim of this yatra is not only remembrance but also to spread public awareness and patriotism. The organizers appealed to the citizens to express their support and sentiments through letters, messages and videos, which will later be delivered to the martyr families.
