Student Niranjan Receives Bicycle from 'Oxygen Man' Gaurav Rai's Network in West Champaran

Today, on 30th July 2025, a bicycle was given to the local student Niranjan by the hands of Public Grievance Officer Shri Rajiv Kumar at Bagaha subdivision headquarters under West Champaran. On this occasion, Shri Rajiv Kumar said that the work of Gaurav Rai, famous as the Oxygen Man of the Corona period, for selecting the needy and fulfilling their needs is very commendable.

On this occasion, Shailesh Kumar Gupta said that this student is very promising and this bicycle will save his time in commuting. On this occasion, Gaurav Rai said that when he came to know about this child, he discussed it with Abhishek Patni, who is like a younger brother and currently an officer in PNB Mumbai. This bicycle was made available to the student Niranjan by Abhishek Patni.

Explaining in detail, Gaurav Rai said that he does not have any NGO, all this work is being done by a group of 200 people. We live in different states, districts but our objective is one and that is to serve humanity. We are trying to bring a change in the lives of the needy by selecting them around us. Gaurav Rai, working as Senior General Manager Operations in a private company, has himself donated blood 103 times and has inspired about 279 people to donate blood.

55-year-old Gaurav Rai is a resident of Sughdi in Bhagwanpur Block under Siwan district and currently lives in Patna. Till date he, his family and group of friends have given bicycles to 307 needy people and about 235 sewing machines for self-employment of women. Sanitary pad vending machines have been installed free of cost in about 135 schools and colleges. Our one aim is to bring smile on people's faces.
