Telangana Unveils ‘Rising Vision 2047’ Blueprint to Drive State Toward a USD 3 Trillion Economy

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu today said that the ‘Telangana Rising Vision 2047’ document aims to showcase the state’s rapid progress over the past two years and outline its long-term development roadmap.
He chaired a high-level review meeting at the Vision Document War Room set up at Praja Bhavan, attended by principal secretaries and department heads.
Bhatti said achieving a USD 3 trillion economy by 2047 is the dream of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the entire cabinet, and stated that the responsibility of preparing a comprehensive vision document had been entrusted to him.
The state government has signed an agreement with the Indian School of Business (ISB) for drafting the document, with nodal officers from various departments already coordinating with ISB teams.
With a Global Summit scheduled for December 8 and 9, the Deputy CM urged officials to expedite the process and bring the document to its final stage.
He said the Vision 2047 blueprint would highlight not just the government’s achievements over two years, but the foundations being laid to position Telangana as a globally competitive state for future generations.
He stressed that detailed planning was essential to meet the targets set across financial, industrial and service sectors.
Bhatti noted that Hyderabad’s strong ecosystem — including its climate, skilled workforce, pharma and IT sectors, and decades of public-sector investments — positions Telangana favourably to attract global investors.
He highlighted major infrastructure projects, including the ongoing Rs 36,000-crore Regional Ring Road and 39 proposed radial roads that will connect upcoming industrial clusters. These, he said, would transform Telangana into an investment magnet.
Officials were directed to work closely with ISB experts and incorporate ministers’ suggestions into the final document.
The Deputy CM said the government was also preparing to host global CEOs and industry leaders as part of the upcoming summit, which will present Telangana’s strengths, resources, and investment potential.
Bhatti emphasised that every department must play a role in achieving the 13 percent GDP growth target and contribute to the USD 3 trillion economy objective. He asked officials to take the assignment seriously and utilize every moment to complete the document.
He said the government’s achievements must be widely publicised, pointing out that projects worth Rs 85,000 crore are underway in the Roads & Buildings Department alone, while the Women and Child Welfare Department has disbursed Rs 27,000 crore in interest-free loans, with a plan to scale this to Rs 1 lakh crore over five years.
Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Seethakka, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, and senior officials including Jayesh Ranjan, Sanjay Kumar, Vikas Raj, and others attended the meeting.
