When will CM Rekha Gupta fulfill her promise to Delhi’s women?

A new government has been formed in Delhi under the leadership of Rekha Gupta. In a grand ceremony held at Ramlila Maidan, Rekha Gupta was sworn in as the Chief Minister by Delhi LG VK Saxena. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP President JP Nadda, Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states and leaders of NDA allies attended the swearing-in ceremony. After the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the women of Delhi had started waiting for the gift of Rs 2,500 monthly, now Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has also given assurance about it.

Rekha Gupta assured the women of Delhi that the BJP government will fulfill its election promise of giving financial assistance of Rs 2,500 per month to women. Further said that the first installment of monthly assistance will reach the accounts of eligible women by March 8.

Let us inform you that the Aam Aadmi Party had announced a monthly assistance of Rs 2,100 for women after coming to power in the assembly elections. Whereas, BJP had promised monthly assistance of Rs 2,500 in its manifesto. Rekha Gupta, who was elected as the leader of the BJP Legislative Party on Wednesday, stressed that fulfilling its promises is the top priority of the BJP.

She said, "It is the responsibility of all 48 BJP MLAs of Delhi to make the dream of Prime Minister Narendra Modi a reality. We will fulfill all our promises including financial assistance for women. Money will be sent to the accounts of women by March 8." Let us tell you that every year March 8 is celebrated as International Women's Day.

In the recently held Delhi Assembly elections, BJP won 48 out of 70 seats and ended the decade-long rule of AAP. Former Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) president and first-time MLA Rekha Gupta took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi at Ramlila Maidan on today afternoon.
