Parvesh Verma: The first name among those who are in the race for the post of CM in Delhi is that of Parvesh Verma. Former MP Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma became a prominent figure for the BJP after defeating AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi seat. Verma, son of former Delhi CM Sahib Singh Verma, has earned the title of "giant killer" with this victory, as he managed to break into Kejriwal's stronghold.

Satish Upadhyay: The second BJP leader in the race for the post of CM in Delhi is Satish Upadhyay. He is the Brahmin face of the BJP. He has been the BJP state president and has also been the president of Delhi Yuva Morcha. He has also been the vice chairman of NDMC. In this sense, he also has administrative experience. He has handled many responsibilities in the organization. He has been the co-in-charge of Madhya Pradesh during the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections and is considered close to the RSS.

Ashish Sood: BJP leader Ashish Sood is considered to be in the race for the post of CM of Delhi. He is the Punjabi face of BJP. He has been a councilor. He has been the general secretary of Delhi BJP. Currently, he is the in-charge of Goa and co-in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir. He played an important role in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections. He has close relations with central leaders. He has also been the president of DU.

Vijender Gupta: Vijender Gupta is also considered to be in the race for the post of Chief Minister of Delhi. Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly and BJP candidate Vijender Gupta has won the election from Rohini Assembly constituency. The BJP candidate won by a margin of 37816 votes, he got a total of 70365 votes. AAP candidate Pradeep Mittal got 32549 votes, while Sumesh Gupta of Congress got only 3765 votes. He has been the President of Delhi BJP. He is the Vaishya face of BJP and has won the assembly elections earlier also despite the AAP wave.

Jitendra Mahajan: BJP candidate Jitendra Mahajan has won from Rohtas Nagar assembly seat. It is a part of North East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Jitendra Mahajan has defeated AAP's Sarita Singh by 27902 votes. In the 2020 Delhi Assembly elections, Jitendra Mahajan of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the seat with 73,873 votes. His nearest rival Sarita Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got 60,632 votes, while Vipin Sharma of the Indian National Congress got 5,572 votes. He comes from the Vaishya community and is very close to the RSS.
