WJAI's "Dialogue to Solution" Program Emphasizes True Journalism for Credibility

Veteran journalists will join through dialogue every Saturday for the all-round development of web journalists.

If you do true journalism, it is beneficial for the government and the common people. We assure you that we will keep your point before the top officials and the government to get due respect for the web journalists. The above things were said by Ravi Bhushan Sahay, Joint Director (Press), Information and Public Relations Department, while addressing the web journalists at the "Dialogue to Solution - Litti Chokha Ke Saath" program organized by the Web Journalists Association of India in Patna on Saturday.

He said that in today's time, most people come in the name of journalism, but they do not know the purpose of journalism. He said that we review the news published by you every day and if there is any departmental गड़बड़ी, we also try to correct it. If you raise questions related to the concerns of the common people, then the government appreciates your work. To make your identity, you have to serve the right content, not sensation.

Presiding over the program, the National President of the Association, Anand Kaushal, said that the Web Journalists Association of India is formed for a specific purpose. He said that journalism is a very big responsibility. Our main objective is to reach the right information to the common people and to highlight the problems of the common people. In today's time, it is the result of WJAI's struggle that today the central government and the state government have brought media guidelines for web journalists. Everywhere now web media is also being given preference. He said that only showing the negative news of the government is not journalism. You work to give direction to the society by showing positive news, it will increase your credibility.

Addressing the program, News 18's Input Editor and senior journalist Braj Mohan Singh said that true journalism is possible only through struggle. In today's time, due to social media, information reaches people very quickly, but due to lack of facts, it becomes social media content instead of media content.

Addressing the program, Zee News's Bureau Chief and senior journalist Rajnish Kumar said that how you serve the news also matters. He explained some nuances of camera and reporting and said that if you present the news in the right way, people will read and see you. In today's time, people try more to show the logo of their channel, whereas it is more important than the logo to give priority to the content. Whenever you go to compile a news, keep in mind that whatever things you are recording are recorded correctly.

Senior journalist Ravindra Bharti and Kumar Jyoti, editor of Amar Ujala, Bihar edition, also discussed the struggles of their journalism life and warned the journalists about the challenges ahead.

National Vice President Dr. Leena said that today the web journalists are also addressed as YouTubers, it is your job to stop it, because you show news but YouTubers entertain. That's why you have to say that you are a journalist, not a YouTuber.

Addressing the program, National Secretary Madhup Mani "Pikkoo" said that web journalists have to maintain restraint on their dialogue and writing. The association has been organizing workshops from time to time. Participation in this workshop will increase your skills.

Addressing the program, WJAI State President Balakrishna informed about the objective of WJAI and he also told the basic duty of journalism. He told the present journalists that it is important to keep in mind that wrong news should not run in the चक्कर of the first because it affects your credibility.

ETV Bharat's Bureau Chief Brijam Pandey, National Treasurer Manjesh Kumar, National Office Secretary Akbar Imam, National Joint Secretary Chandan Kumar Raj, National Secretary Vivek Kumar, State Vice President Alok Kumar, Raju Pathak, District President Deepak Raj, Bihar Police Media PR Sanjit Mishra and many web journalists, Bihar heads of prestigious media institutions and local correspondents were present in the program.
