‘No Vaccine, No Entry’ policy implemented

In view of the rapidly increasing infection of Corona, Southern Railway has imposed some strict restrictions on the passengers. At present, this new rule has been made for local trains. Actually, Southern Railway has implemented ‘No Vaccine, No Entry’ policy in local trains.

According to this new rule, now only those who have got vaccination can travel in the local train. People can no longer travel in local trains without getting the corona vaccine. Not only this, even if a passenger has taken only a single dose of corona vaccine, he will not be allowed to travel.

Certificate of Vaccination to be shown

Southern Railway has also said that it will be mandatory for railway passengers to follow the guidelines issued regarding Corona. It will also be mandatory for the passengers to show the certificate of vaccination while issuing travel ticket or Monthly Season Ticket (MST).

Tickets will be issued only to those who have the certificate of vaccination. In view of this move of Southern Railway, similar rules can be implemented in other places as well.
