Korean Defence Minister to visit India to strengthen military ties

A bilateral meeting between Republic of Korea Defence Minister Suh Wook and Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will take place on March 26. Thereafter, Indian Army chief General MM Naravane will accompany Suh Wook to Agra.

Republic of Korea Defence Minister Suh Wook is visiting India for three days in bid to enhance military cooperation between two countries. He will arrive New Delhi on March 25 and will be staying in India till March 27.

On March 26, Suh Wook would be laying wreath at National War Memorial and thereafter will be inaugurating an Indo-Korean friendship park in Delhi Cantt .

A bilateral meeting between Suh Wook and Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will take place later in the day.

Thereafter, Indian Army chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane will accompany Suh Wook to Agra .

The force paratroopers will give a demonstration of air insertion over there. It will be held in Agra on March 27, the headquarters of the para brigade of the Indian Army. Indian Air Force will be at full strength for the para drops.

He will also visit Taj Mahal after the display.

In December 2020, Indian Army Chief visited Republic of Korea. He visited the Korea Combat Training Centre in Inje Country, Gangwon Province and Advance Defence Development (ADD) at Daejeon. He has also visited the South Korean Army headquarters.
