National-Level Research Paper Competition Held in the Capital in Partnership with DSLSA
In a national-level research paper competition held in the capital, Professor Neeraj Khatri, the Dean of the Journalism Department at Marg University, Gurugram, Haryana, emerged as the first-place winner, securing a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 along with a running cup. Ms. Tejaswini Kaushal, a student from National Law University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, claimed the second prize, which included a cash prize of Rs. 3,000. This competition was part of the National Awareness Program organized in collaboration with Jan Sahayog Samiti, the Institution of Engineers (India) Delhi State Center, and the Delhi State Legal Services Authority. The felicitation ceremony for the state-level research paper presentation competition, with significant participation from Madhya Pradesh, concluded at Engineers Bhawan in New Delhi.
As part of the national-level research paper competition, the chosen topic was the need for legal education, with sub-themes focusing on violence prevention against women, prevention of child sexual abuse, cybercrime prevention, and legal education and curriculum. Faculty members and students from various colleges and universities across the country participated in this prestigious event. The competition offered cash prizes of Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000, and Rs. 2,000, along with a special prize of Rs. 1,000.
In this highly competitive event, Professor Neeraj Khatri, Dean of the Journalism Department at KR Mangalam University, Gurugram, Haryana, clinched the first prize, receiving a cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and a running trophy. Ms. Tejaswini Kaushal from National Law University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, secured the second prize of Rs. 3,000, bringing honor to her university.
The competition was judged by a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Vimal Joshi, former Dean of the School of Legal Studies at Bhagat Phool Singh Bhava Women's University, Sonipat, Haryana, Dr. Jyoti Gaur, Dean of Suresh Gyan Vihar NAS University, and Dr. Nikki Dubas, who served as the Chairperson of the Council for Allied and Healthcare Professionals.

The National Awareness Program's inaugural session was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Honorable Justice Ms. Sangeeta Dhingra Sehgal, a former Judge of the Delhi High Court and the Honorable Chairman of the Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The award distribution session featured an address by Honorable Justice Ms. Gyan Sudha Kal Mishra, a Judge of the Supreme Court of India.
The successful coordination of the program was attributed to Vijay Gaur, CEO of Bhartiya Jan Gaye Sahayog Samiti, and Vice President Bharat Bhushan.
