BJP Appoints Keshav Prasad Maurya as Central Observer for Bihar Legislature Party Leader Election

The BJP today appointed Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya as the central observer for the election of the BJP Legislature Party leader in Bihar.
BJP national general secretary Arun Singh said here that the party’s Parliamentary board has appointed Maurya as the central observer and union Minister of Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal and former union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti as central co-observers.
He said the appointments have been made for coordination and smooth conduct of the election.
The BJP and JDU would be electing their legislature party leaders on November 19. However, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) has already elected MLA from Sikandara (Reserved) assembly seat Praful Manjhi the leader of the legislature party.
Lok Janshakti Party ( RV) has elected Raju Tiwari MLA from Govindganj its legislature party leader.
Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) has authorised Rajya Sabha MP and national president of the party Upendra Kushwaha to elect the leader of the legislature party.
After electing of the legislature party leader, the constituent units of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will elect the leader of the alliance on November 19.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday recommended to the Bihar Governor Arif Mohammed Khan the dissolution of the state assembly on November 19.
Accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Parliamentary affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Kumar had called on the Governor after a meeting of his cabinet, last of the present tenure, and handed over the letter unanimously recommending for the dissolution of the Bihar assembly.
On the other hand, Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) has also elected Tejashwi Prasad Yadav leader of its legislature party.
