BJP Celebrates NDA’s Landslide Bihar Win With Sweets, Firecrackers in Patna

After the NDA’s massive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, party leaders today celebrated the event at the BJP office in the state capital Patna.

Feeling euphoric after the victory, BJP workers distributed sweets, burst firecrackers and congratulated each other.

On the one hand, the atmosphere at the party offices of the NDA partners looked festive while the party offices of the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) partners wore a sombre look.

Meanwhile, the atmosphere at the chief minister's residence was jubilant as the leaders started pouring in soon after getting the encouraging trend of the counting of votes.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and senior BJP leader called on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at his residence and discussed various scenarios in the presence of Bihar ministers Ashok Choudhary and Vijay Chaudhary.

Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, close aide of Kumar was also present.

Meanwhile, Bihar BJP chief Dilip Jaiswal thanked the voters and party workers for the historic victory. He said the people of Bihar have shown their trust in the 'double engine' government and its development work. He also thanked women and young voters for their strong support.

Jaiswal said the results show that the people of Bihar do not want the return of “jungle raj” and prefer good governance, stability, and development. He added that the mandate proves that the people believe in the NDA’s vision and policies.

He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying their leadership played a major role in this success. Jaiswal praised BJP workers for their hard work and said the victory belongs to them and the people who trusted the party.

He said that under the NDA rule, the speed of development in Bihar will increase further and governance will become stronger.
