Sankarsh Chanda, a prodigy aged 23, has a fortune of $100 million.

Sankarsh Chanda started trading stocks with barely Rs 2,000 when he was 23 years old.

Any discussion on legendary stock market investors will fall short if the names of the late Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, Radhakishan Damani, Vijay Kedia, Ashish Kochalia, and Dolly Khanna are not mentioned. But despite having little prior experience, many young investors have made a killing through stock trading. One among them is Sankarsh Chanda, a citizen of Hyderabad who is 24 years old and has earned Rs 100 crore from the stock market. His name is now on the index of the top investors worldwide.

Sankarsh did not have to experience the early loss-inducing phase that practically all investors go through, whether it was fate or just pure luck. At the age of 17, he made his first stock market investment with just Rs 2,000. He was studying for his B.Tech in computer science at Bennett University (Greater Noida) at the time. He did, however, put off finishing his education to pursue his ambition of becoming a stock market investor. He said in an interview with DNA that he had invested roughly Rs 1.5 lakh in the stock demand over two years, during which time the market value of his shares increased to Rs 13 lakh.

Sankarsh is an entrepreneur in addition to an investor in the stock market. He established Svoboda Infinity Investment Advisors Private Limited, a fintech start-up. According to Sankarsh, lesson writing by American economist Benjamin Graham piqued his interest in the stock market.

His company made Rs 12 lakh in income in its foremost year, Rs 14 lakh in its second, Rs 32 lakh in its third, and Rs 40 lakh in its fourth fiscal year (2020–2021).

Sankarsh's 2016 book Financial Nirvana, which he wrote, creates a distinction between business and investing. It also offers advice on understanding the market and diversifying your investments. The Intelligent Investor, Security Analysis, and The First Three Minutes of the Universe are the three books recommended by Sankarsh to anthologies who are inquisitive about discovering money and investment.
