SJVN’s Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Station record 39.526 mu energy in day

Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station, the 1500 MW station of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), in Himachal Pradesh has set a new record in highest ever single day energy generation. The Hydro Power Station has generated 39.526 million units (MU) energy in a single day on August 29, 2022 and surpassed the previous record of 39.524 million units which was achieved on July 18, 2022. SJVN said the company's 412 MW Rampur hydro power station had also achieved the highest daily generation for the current financial year, when the station generated 10.908 MU on August 26, 2022.
