Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar to play again – Know the details
One of the greatest cricketers of all time, Sachin Tendulkar, is set to return to the field once again. Sachin, who holds the unique record of scoring the most runs and hitting 100 centuries in international cricket, will be the captain of the Indian team in the International Masters League. He retired from international cricket in 2013, but now his fans will get a chance to enjoy his game once again.
The International Masters League will be organized for the first time. This tournament will be played between 22 February and 16 March at three places including Mumbai, Vadodara and Raipur. A total of 6 teams will participate in it, which include teams from India and Sri Lanka, England, Australia, West Indies and South Africa. The Indian Masters team was announced here on Friday, which includes players like World Cup winner Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina and Irfan Pathan.
Irfan Pathan said in a press release that I am thrilled to be a part of the India Masters team in the first season of the International Masters League. It feels great to have shared so many happy and precious moments in the past with Sachin Tendulkar and other teammates. The captain of the Sri Lanka Masters team is Kumar Sangakkara. The team includes former aggressive batsman Romesh Kaluwitharana, fast bowler Suranga Lakmal and opener Upul Tharanga.
