ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 Full Schedule Released; India-Pakistan Clash on June 14

The International Cricket Council has released the full schedule for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026, with the 12-team tournament set to be held across England and Wales from June 12 to July 5 — culminating in a final at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground. The lineup includes three European nations for the first time, reflecting the rapid global expansion of women's cricket.
Following qualifiers held in Nepal last month, the field has been split into two groups. Group 1 features Australia, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands, while Group 2 comprises West Indies, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Ireland, and Scotland.
The most anticipated fixture of the group stage arrives early — India and Pakistan are set to collide at Edgbaston on June 14 at 6:30 PM BST, in what is always one of cricket's most electric rivalries. Meanwhile, England and Scotland will make history on June 20 at Headingley, meeting for the first time in a men's or women's World Cup match on English soil, with Scotland's Katherine Bryce, Sarah Bryce, and Abtaha Maqsood expected to be the centre of attention.
Bangladesh — unbeaten through the qualifiers — face a stern test against Australia on June 17 before a crucial Group 1 decider against India on June 25. The Netherlands, making their Women's T20 World Cup debut, will rely on the likes of Sterre Kallis as they take on India, Australia, and South Africa.
The semi-finals are scheduled for June 30 and July 2 at The Oval, before the final on July 5 at Lord's. Defending champions New Zealand open their campaign against West Indies on June 13, with their title defence set to be tested by England on June 27 at The Oval in what could be a defining group stage encounter.
ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta described the tournament as "another major step in the development of women's cricket," pointing to rapid growth in investment, broadcasting reach, and viewership as indicators of the sport's upward trajectory.
