Iga Swiatek wins Wimbledon 2025: Prize money details for her and Amanda Anisimova

In just 57 minutes, Iga Swiatek defeated Amanda Anisimova 6-0, 6-0 in the 2025 Wimbledon women's singles final to win her first Wimbledon title and sixth Grand Slam overall. Since 1911, this was Wimbledon's first "double bagel" final.

The 24-year-old Polish star won despite only needing 10 winners, finishing with a 55-24 lead in total points. Anisimova struggled throughout, making 28 unforced errors.

While Swiatek had previously won four French Open titles on clay and one US Open on hard courts, this marks her first grass-court championship. It also ended a trophy drought—her last title was Roland-Garros in June 2024.

Kate, the Princess of Wales, was present in the Royal Box and joined the on-court ceremony after the match.

Swiatek is now the eighth straight first-time women’s Wimbledon champion, but her overwhelming win makes her stand out, especially against Anisimova, the 23-year-old American playing her first major final.

Anisimova earned £1.52 million (roughly -$2.06 million), up 8% from the previous year, while Swiatek earned £3 million (roughly -$4.07 million), up 11% from 2024.

With equal prize money for men's and women's singles, Wimbledon 2025 had a £53.5 million total prize fund.
