St. Karen's High School Duo Claims Victory at Patna Division Finals of Khel Gyanotsav

The intellectual adrenaline was high and the spirit of competition soared at SK Memorial Hall, Gandhi Maidan, as Patna hosted the final division-level showdown of the Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025—a landmark state-level initiative blending knowledge with sportsmanship. The Patna Division Finals brought together 18 stellar teams from Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur, Buxar, Rohtas, and Kaimur, all vying for the coveted spot in the state grand finale.

After a thrilling contest that combined sharp minds and swift reflexes, Ambar Sinha and Ishan Bhushan from St. Karen’s High School, Patna, emerged victorious, clinching the First Prize with remarkable consistency and teamwork. Their performance in both the written preliminaries and the high-octane on-stage rounds set them apart as the undisputed champions of the division.

Following closely were:

• Second Place: Aditya Dhanraj and Arshit Arsh, representing Don Bosco Academy, Patna, showcasing tactical brilliance and calm under pressure.

• Third Place: Asgar Hussain and Mazhar Ali Warsi, from S.S. +2 High School, Jagdishpur, Bhojpur, who impressed with their tenacity and depth of sports knowledge.

The quiz was masterfully conducted by renowned Quiz Master Mr. Aniket Mishra, whose engaging style kept both participants and audience on the edge of their seats.

Chief Guest Mr. Vivek Kumar Singh, IAS, Chairman, RERA, applauded the impressive knowledge displayed by the participants and urged them to approach extracurricular activities with the same seriousness and dedication as academics.

The event was graced by a distinguished panel of guests, including: Mr. Rahul Kumar, IAS, Special Secretary, Finance Department, Mr. Samir Saurav, IAS, Deputy Development Commissioner, Patna, Mr. Raj Narayan Singh, Chief Coordinator, Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav and Mr. Abhishek Kumar, NIS Prasikshak. Their encouraging presence added gravitas to the event, reinforcing the state’s commitment to promoting sports awareness through innovative academic platforms.

With this, all eyes now turn to the Grand Finale of Mukhyamantri Khel Gyanotsav 2025, scheduled for Thursday at the Patliputra Sports Complex, Patna. The final promises to be a grand celebration of sports intellect, bringing together the best minds from across all divisions of Bihar.
