Web Journalists Association of India Honors its Office Bearers and Cricket Team

Patna: The Web Journalists Association of India (WJAI), Bihar cricket team, organized a felicitation ceremony at the Patna Youth Hostel auditorium on Thursday.
The ceremony honored WJAI's national president, Anand Kaushal, national secretary, Madhup Mani "Pikku", national office secretary, Akbar Imam, WJAI's cricket coach, Jyoti Kumar, former cricketer and commentator, Suresh Kumar Mishra "Pinku", and Shramjivi Patrakar Sangh's general secretary, Prem Kumar.
WJAI Bihar's secretary, Raju Narayan Pathak, welcomed the guests and presented them with bouquets, angvastram, and mementos.
Anand Kaushal, WJAI's national president, spoke about the organization's activities and objectives. "Our aim is to provide accurate information to the public and work for the welfare of journalists," he said. "We have formed a cricket team to promote sports among our members and provide a platform for them to showcase their talent."
Kaushal emphasized the importance of maintaining a balance between work and leisure. "We must always keep in mind that we should not cross the limits set by the government," he said.
Madhup Mani "Pikku", WJAI's national secretary, emphasized the importance of sports in maintaining physical and mental well-being. "We have formed a cricket team to promote sports among our members," he said. "Raju Narayan Pathak, WJAI Bihar's secretary, is a skilled organizer, and we are confident that he will strengthen our organization and take it to new heights."
Prem Kumar, Shramjivi Patrakar Sangh's general secretary, praised WJAI's efforts and announced plans to organize similar sports events in the future. "When the leadership is strong, the morale of the members also boosts," he said. "We will also organize such sports events in collaboration with WJAI."
Jyoti Kumar, WJAI's cricket coach, expressed his commitment to the team's success. "Although I could not devote as much time as I wanted to the team, I am confident that we will emerge as the number one team in the future," he said.
Akbar Imam, WJAI's national office secretary, assured his commitment to the organization. "We are fully prepared to contribute to the organization's growth," he said.
The ceremony was moderated by Suresh Kumar Mishra "Pinku", former cricketer and commentator. Raju Narayan Pathak, WJAI Bihar's secretary, expressed gratitude to the guests and announced plans to strengthen WJAI's cricket team.
The event was attended by WJAI's state treasurer, Md. Kadir Khan, Jackie Sharma, Neeraj Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, and Ravi Kant Kumar, among others. Patna district secretary, Vipin Singh, joint secretary, Shubham Kumar, and several other journalists were also present.
