Apple's First Foldable iPhone Design Leaked: Book-Fold Style with Touch ID Return

Apple's first foldable iPhone design has been revealed through online leaks, showing a book-fold form factor similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series. The device, expected to launch later this year, marks a significant departure from Apple's current design philosophy with the surprising return of Touch ID.
Design Details Emerge
According to a Weibo leak reported by MacRumors, the foldable iPhone features a distinctive button layout. The volume controls sit on the top edge aligned to the right, mirroring the iPad mini design. The Touch ID power button and Camera Control buttons occupy the right edge, while the left side remains smooth without any buttons.
The front camera uses a single punch-hole design, indicating a smaller Dynamic Island than current models. The rear features an iPhone Air-style camera plateau with two horizontally arranged cameras, microphone, and flash. Unlike previous models, this plateau will be entirely black regardless of body color.
