Buzz, Business and Big Questions: AI Summit at Pragati Maidan Enters Day 3

The five day Artificial Intelligence Summit currently underway at Pragati Maidan is being conducted with great enthusiasm and fanfare. Today marks the third day of the conference. Yet amid the excitement confusion seems to linger not only among attendees but metaphorically even within AI itself. Confronted with the overwhelming crowd one wonders whether the technology can distinguish between its true target audience and mere spectators.

Data is abundant at the summit but the larger picture emerging from it appears blurred. Every entrepreneur seems eager to sell AI driven solutions yet few appear ready to invest in or adopt them meaningfully. For many young participants AI resembles a bullet train promising to transport them instantly to their dream careers. However concrete answers remain elusive. Vendors passionately promote their software but rarely does anyone address AI’s long term sustainability ethical implications or realistic lifespan.

Organizers appear somewhat relieved today as the intensity of VVIP presence has slightly diminished. With two days remaining efforts continue to complete the formal engagements and ceremonial commitments. Students in particular are visibly enthusiastic about boarding what may be described as the AI Skills Chariot eager to align themselves with the future of technology.

Interestingly despite the gravity of the conference many attendees seemed more invested in social interactions than in the intricacies of artificial intelligence. The pavilion of Adobe Express drew notably large crowds. In a playful twist a few friends were even seen impersonating AI themselves.

Entrepreneurs Shashikanth Reddy and Upendar Vellore from Hyderabad participating in the summit described the event as exceeding their expectations. They expressed optimism about the expansion of AI in India while also voicing concerns regarding its potential misuse and unintended consequences.

Security arrangements at the venue appeared inconsistent at times stringent at others surprisingly lax. Although entry was regulated through barcode verification identity checks were occasionally overlooked. Such momentary lapses could prove costly. Despite light drizzles across Delhi today attendance surpassed expectations. With two days still to go the five day summit promises to remain engaging and eventful.
