China has quietly launched its most modern submarine. It is a diesel-electric submarine. Which has been included in the underwater fleet of the People's Liberation Army-Navy (PLAN). It is being told that it is of Type-039A/B/C class. Which NATO calls Yuan class submarine.

The Chinese Navy has 48 diesel-electric submarines. Of which 21 submarines are Type-039A/B class with 3600 tonnes displacement. But the new one that has been included is Type-039C type. Its design is also very stealthy. That is, it is an expert in attacking silently. It was launched in April at Wuchang Shipyard. Its sea trial has also been completed.

It has the power to fire anti-ship missiles. The Pentagon estimates that China will build 25 more such submarines by 2025 and include them in its navy. This submarine looks to be 83 to 85 meters i.e. 272 to 279 feet long. Whereas Yuan-class submarines are 77 meters long.

Therefore, it was likely that this was a new-class submarine. Its stern also looks like X. That means its maneuvering will be easier and more controlled. This will also reduce the sound underwater. Whereas China's Yuan-class submarine does not have such a stern. Anti-ship missiles have been installed in it.

China ranks second in the world in terms of navy. While America ranks fourth. China currently has three aircraft carriers. America has 11. America ranks first in this matter. China has three helo carriers. That is, for helicopters. Whereas, America has 9.

China is slightly behind America in terms of submarines. China has 61 submarines while America has 64 submarines. China has 49 destroyers i.e. destroyer warships. Whereas America has 75. China has 42 frigates, but America has none. China has 72 corvettes, while America has 23.
