US Launches Air and Missile Strikes on Venezuela, Explosions Rock Caracas and Other Cities

Immediately after the attacks, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro addressed the nation and issued a strong statement. President Maduro leveled serious allegations against the US, stating that the attacks were part of a coup plot. He claimed that the US wanted to seize Venezuela's oil and mineral resources, which is why military pressure was being exerted.

Meanwhile, Colombian President Gustavo Petro issued a statement on social media claiming that Caracas had been attacked. He said that missiles were being used to bombard the area and that international organizations should immediately address the matter.
