CM Arvind Kejriwal Outlines Ambitious Vision for India's Development

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal unveiled an ambitious plan to provide free education, quality healthcare, and 24x7 electricity to all citizens of India during his Independence Day address. He emphasizes the need for unity and development across the nation.

New Delhi:-On India's 77th Independence Day, Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal hoisted the national flag at the Chhatrasal Stadium. Addressing the gathering, he introduced an audacious roadmap to transform the nation's education, healthcare, and energy sectors.

 

Shri Arvind Kejriwal outlined his commitment to providing free and quality education, ensuring accessible healthcare, and delivering 24x7 electricity to every household across India. He noted that the collective progress of the country depends on the equitable distribution of resources and opportunities.

 

Highlighting the urgent need for quality education, he shared his vision to revamp government schools, echoing the successful model implemented in Delhi. To achieve this goal nationwide, he proposed investing 6 lakh crore rupees over five years.

 

Shri Arvind Kejriwal also underscored the importance of a robust healthcare system, citing the success of Mohalla Clinics in Delhi. He presented a plan to establish 1 lakh such clinics across the country, requiring an investment of 10,000 crore rupees. Additionally, he advocated for the creation of advanced multi-speciality hospitals in each district, which could be accomplished with 1.25 lakh crore rupees.

 

To make quality education and healthcare accessible, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for 24x7 electricity. He criticized the prevailing power cuts in several states and highlighted the vast untapped potential of India's energy generation. He proposed an investment of 1.5 lakh crore rupees to provide free electricity up to 200 units for all citizens.

 

Shri Arvind Kejriwal stressed that these initiatives would generate 3 crore new employment opportunities for the youth and improve living conditions across the country. He expressed that India's progress requires unity, effective governance, and equitable resource allocation.

 

In his speech, the Chief Minister also addressed the prevailing conflicts and hostility in certain regions of the country. He called for unity among all Indians and emphasized that progress can only be achieved through cooperation and harmony.

 

Shri Arvind Kejriwal pledged to continue fighting for the democratic rights of the people of Delhi, which he believes have been compromised by central government actions. He reassured the people of Delhi that their access to free water, electricity, education, and healthcare will persist.

 

The Chief Minister concluded his address by urging all Indians to work together for the development of the country. He emphasized that positive change requires the combined efforts of citizens, government, and society.
