‘Baaghi 4’ Struggles at Box Office, Drops Sharply on First Monday
Tiger Shroff’s ‘Baaghi 4’ faced a slow Monday at the box office, with collections dipping to Rs 4.25 crore, bringing its four-day total in India to Rs 35.50 crore.
Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 4 is off to a bumpy start at the box office. The fourth installment in the high-octane action franchise had the weakest opening weekend in the series — and the trend continued into Monday.
On its first Monday, Baaghi 4 collected just around ₹4.25 crore (nett), bringing its four-day total to ₹35.50 crore. That’s a significant drop from Sunday’s ₹10 crore collection — and less than half of what the film earned on its opening day (₹12 crore).
Here’s a quick look at the film’s day-wise collections (India, nett):
* Friday: ₹12 crore
* Saturday: ₹9.25 crore
* Sunday: ₹10 crore
* Monday: ₹4.25 crore
* Total (4 days): ₹35.50 crore
In comparison, Baaghi 2 made ₹12.10 crore on its first Monday, while Baaghi 3 pulled in over ₹9 crore — even during pandemic-affected releases. The original Baaghi (2016) had a healthier fourth-day take of ₹6.80 crore.
First Monday is often seen as a make-or-break day for Bollywood releases, offering an early glimpse into a film’s staying power. For Baaghi 4, the sharp drop signals a worrying trend — especially with new films set to hit theatres later this week.
Directed by A Harsha, Baaghi 4 still has a few days to recover and prove its hold at the box office before it faces competition from three mid-budget releases this weekend.
