Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan is set to collaborate with Hombale Films, the production house behind major hits like the KGF series and Kantara. The studio announced the partnership with a statement on social media, hinting at an ambitious new project described as a story of "grit, grandeur, and glory," where intense storytelling meets bold imagination.
Taking to their official social handles, Hombale Films wrote, “They call him the Greek God. He's ruled hearts, shattered limits and we see the phenomenon he truly is! We are proud to welcome @iHrithik to the @hombalefilms family for a collaboration, years in the making. A tale of grit, grandeur and glory is set to unfold, where intensity meets imagination — the Big Bang begins.”
Speaking to Variety, Hrithik expressed his excitement about joining forces with the studio: “Hombale has been home to some very unique stories over the years. I'm looking forward to partnering with them and delivering a cinematic experience for our audience. We are dreaming big and committed to bringing the vision to life.”
While the production house has not revealed the title or genre of the film, the announcement has already sent fans into a frenzy of speculation. Social media is buzzing with theories — some imagining a face-off between Hrithik and Yash’s Rocky Bhai in KGF 3, while others dream of a crossover with Prabhas or even a potential link to the Salaar or Kantara universes.
“This is the future of Indian cinema,” one fan wrote. “North and South coming together to create art. Can’t wait for what’s next.” Another commented, “What if this is a Prashanth Neel project? The possibilities are massive!”
Meanwhile, Hrithik is gearing up for his upcoming spy thriller War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film, which also stars Jr NTR and Kiara Advani, is slated for release on August 14.
On the other hand, Hombale Films is also preparing for the release of Kantara: Chapter 1, a prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara. Set during the reign of the Kadamba dynasty, the film stars Rishab Shetty, Jayaram, Kishore, Jayasurya, and Jisshu Sengupta.
