After the sudden death of businessman Sunjay Kapur earlier this year, his kids with Karisma Kapoor — Samaira and Kiaan — have taken their stepmom, Priya Sachdev Kapur, to court. They’re accusing her of faking his will to take over everything he left behind.

They say Priya didn’t even mention a will at first — she claimed everything was under a family trust. But weeks later, she showed up with a supposed will dated just a few months before Sunjay’s death, which the kids believe is completely fake. They also say they've never seen the original document, only heard about it at a family meeting nearly two months after he passed.

Samaira and Kiaan say they had a close relationship with their dad — they traveled together, he included them in business matters, and always promised to secure their future. Now they’re asking the court to officially recognize them as legal heirs and give them a fair share of his estate — one-fifth each.

Things reportedly got worse after the funeral. They claim Priya started cutting off access to financial info, didn’t let them see trust documents, and even tried to get them to sign legal papers without giving full details.

So now it’s a full-blown legal battle. The kids want the court to step in, question the will, and make sure their dad’s promises to them are honored.
