Shah Rukh Khan and his kids Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam have a ‘secret door’ they use at Gauri Khan’s restaurant.

Gauri Khan’s upscale Mumbai restaurant Torii comes with a touch of exclusivity—especially for her husband Shah Rukh Khan and their kids Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam. In a recent interview with SCREEN, the restaurant’s head chef, Stefan Gadit, shared some fun behind-the-scenes details about the Khan family’s visits—and their private way in.

According to Chef Stefan, there’s a special "secret door" at Torii, reserved only for a few celebrities—and primarily for the Khans. “Not everybody has access to the secret doorway; it’s for the Khans,” he said, adding that the family often dines at the restaurant or orders in when they’re unable to make it there in person.

He also shared a few tidbits about their food preferences: young AbRam is a fan of the sushi, Shah Rukh loves the lamb chops, and Gauri enjoys the Thai curry. Suhana and Aryan often stop by with their friends to hang out. Most recently, the family even celebrated Shah Rukh’s longtime manager Pooja Dadlani’s birthday at the restaurant.

Torii, which opened on Valentine’s Day last year, has already made waves on the food and celeb circuit. It even featured in the Netflix reality series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives, with stars like Sussanne Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Neelam Kothari, and Seema Sajdeh attending the launch.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki in 2023. After taking a short break, he’s now back on set, currently shooting for King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is especially anticipated as it will mark his daughter Suhana Khan’s big-screen debut. Suhana recently made her acting debut in The Archies, directed by Zoya Akhtar, alongside a young cast including Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda. Actor Abhishek Bachchan is also part of King.
