Sushmita Sen dazzled by daughter Renee Sen’s ‘stunning’ new photos, wishes her a happy 26th birthday: ‘God’s precious gift’
Sushmita Sen posted a bunch of photos on Instagram as her daughter Renee Sen turned 26. The actor wrote that she is “forever proud of” Renee.
Actor Sushmita Sen recently celebrated her older daughter Renee Sen’s 26th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. Sharing a mix of throwback photos and recent pictures from Renee’s latest photoshoot, Sushmita showered her daughter with love and pride.
In the post, Sushmita shared tender moments of a younger Renee hugging her, sitting with her younger sister Alisah, and relaxing together. She also included snapshots from their vacations and Renee’s growing-up years. Sushmita wrote, “Happy birthday, my first love! God’s most precious gift who changed my life forever! Earlier, Sushmita shared photos from Renee’s recent photoshoot, where she posed confidently in black and printed outfits. Captioning the post, Sushmita said, “Attitude doesn’t compete, it slays in its own lane! Love you, birthday girl @reneesen47. Stunning!”
Sushmita, who won Miss Universe in 1994, became a single mother at 24 when she adopted Renee in 2000. She adopted her second daughter, Alisah, in 2010. Renee stepped into acting with a short film debut in 2021.
In a past interview, Sushmita spoke about adopting her daughters, calling it the wisest decision she ever made. “Becoming a mother stabilized my life. People see it as a great act of charity, but for me, it was self-preservation,” she said.
Sushmita’s latest work was in the thriller series Aarya, where she plays a strong woman fighting to protect her family from a criminal world. The show was nominated for Best Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards. The first half of season 3 premiered in 2023, with the second half airing in February 2024.
