ESIC Headquarters. Office observed Closing Ceremony of Rajbhasha Pakhwara

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Headquarters Office in New Delhi observed the closing ceremony of Official Language Fortnight (Rajbhasha Pakhwara) on October 06, 2023. Dr. Rajendra Kumar, Director General, ESIC, chaired the function. Sh. Manoj Kumar Singh, Chief Vigilance Officer, ESIC, and other senior officers and employees attended the function in large numbers.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rajendra Kumar said that Hindi is the third most spoken language in the world and a source of unity in a country with a lot of diversity. He motivated officials to work in Hindi and said that working in Hindi is not only a constitutional obligation but also a moral responsibility. He also encouraged the use of modern e-tools to make it easier to use Hindi.

During the function, the Hindi magazine of ESIC Headquarters, "Panchdeep Bharti," was also released. Ratnesh Kumar Gautam, Insurance Commissioner (Official Language), spoke about the various events organized during the Official Language Fortnight and urged everyone to use Hindi in their day-to-day official work.

On this occasion, the winners of various Hindi competitions, such as the Hindi Noting and Drafting Competition, the Official Language Knowledge Competition, the Hindi Essay Competition, and the Hindi Debate Competition, organized during the Official Language Fortnight in 2023, were felicitated with prize money and certificates.
