Historic Partnership between Delhi Teachers University, Vision College of Jeonju, South Korea, and CALCE India
In a historic ceremony held at Outram Lane, New Delhi, representatives of Delhi Teachers University, the Center for Arts Language and Cultural Exchange (CALCE) India, and Vision College of Jeonju, South Korea, came together to formalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement marks a significant step in promoting educational and cultural cooperation between India and South Korea, promising mutual benefits for students and faculty alike.
The event was attended by Vice Chancellor of Delhi Teachers University, Prof. Dhananjay Joshi, Director of the International Affairs Office of Vision College and University of Jeonju Lee Sang Rok, Patron of CALSE India Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Vivek Sharma, Rajneesh Kumar, Mukesh Kumar Tyagi, Dr. Santosh Patel, Swati Verma, Ankita Bhattacharya, Shweta Sachdeva, and MA (Education) students of Delhi Teachers University.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dhananjay Joshi expressed his positive outlook on this cooperation. He believes that this partnership will provide abundant opportunities for mutual benefit. He proposed the possibility of establishing language centers within each institution to facilitate learning of each other's languages, which would open doors to increased cultural exchange.
Vivek Sharma, director of CALSE India, shared similar sentiments. He highlighted the potential of this collaboration to improve the technical proficiency of both students and teachers.
Rakesh Kumar, Patron of CALC India, saw this collaboration as a means to promote global understanding while emphasizing the concept of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" (the world is one family).
