Chief Secretary, Government of Bihar, Shri Amrit Lal Meena today formally released the 'e-Office User Manual' at Chief Secretariat Assembly Hall, Old Secretariat, Patna. Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, Dr. B. Rajender, Additional Director General of BPARD, Dr. Safina A.N. and Secretary, General Administration Department, Smt. Rachna Patil along with other senior officials were also present on the occasion.

The publication of 'e-Office User Manual' is an important step towards making the administrative processes in the state more transparent, quick and accountable. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Amrit Lal Meena said, “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, the Bihar government is constantly striving for transparency and quick administrative process. The 'e-Office' system is a unique step, which will make it possible to dispose of files quickly and with transparency. Our aim is to make maximum use of technology in administrative work and provide quick services to the public.” He further said that this system will further strengthen the commitment of the Bihar government towards good governance and will promote efficiency and accountability in all departments.

Bihar Government is committed to providing better services to the public through continuous administrative reforms and technological innovations. 'E-Office' system will prove to be a milestone towards good governance in the state
