Bihar Energy Department Completes Power Infrastructure Preparations for PM Modi's Patna Visit
PESU ensures dual grid connections at Raj Bhawan and Airport while setting up emergency camps with technical teams at key locations along PM's route;

Necessary preparations have been completed by PESU to ensure power supply for the proposed Patna visit of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In this regard, Energy Secretary cum CMD BSPHCL Shri Pankaj Kumar Pal reviewed the preparations by holding a high-level meeting at Vidyut Bhawan and gave necessary instructions.
It was told in the meeting that Raj Bhawan, Airport have been connected to dual grid system so that there is no disruption in power supply. Apart from this, maintenance work of Vidyut Bhawan and Veterinary Power Sub Station has been completed.
To deal with any emergency related to electricity, temporary camps will be set up at Airport, Raj Bhawan and Veerchand Patel Path, where Executive Engineer, Junior Engineer and Transmission Gang will be present.
33 and 11 kV underground cable line located near the entry and exit gate of the airport has been shifted so that the construction of drainage channel can be done on time. Keeping safety in mind, the height of the wires has been increased and all communication cables have been bunched. LT AB cables have also been installed as per requirement.
The entire maintenance work of all the distribution sub-stations (DSS) located on the route of the Prime Minister's road show has also been completed. The Energy Secretary has directed the headquarters team to visit the site and inspect the preparations.
