Bihar Labor Minister Santosh Kumar Singh Departs for 113th ILO Conference in Geneva as Indian Delegation Guest

State to showcase labor welfare policies and experiences on international platform during June 2-13 International Labor Organization meeting in Switzerland;

Minister of Labor Resources Department, Bihar Government, Shri Santosh Kumar Singh and Secretary of the Department, Shri Deepak Anand left for Geneva, Switzerland today to participate in the 113th International Labor Conference organized by the International Labor Organization (ILO) from 2 to 13 June 2025. There, the minister will share the state's experience, policies and priorities related to labor welfare on the international platform. The Ministry of Labor and Employment of the Government of India has included Minister Santosh Kumar of the Government of Bihar in the Indian delegation as a guest minister, in which, as per tradition, the Secretary of the Labor Resources Department will also participate in the meetings organized in Geneva from 04 to 06 June 2025 with the delegation along with the minister.

During participation in the conference, Minister Santosh Kumar Singh will share the experience, policies and priorities related to labor welfare of the state of Bihar on the international platform. Along with this, the participants of the conference will also be aware of the ongoing activities for workers in other countries of the world. It is noteworthy that India is a four-member lead member of the ILO, which participates in this annual conference through a high-level tripartite delegation.
