Door-to-door initiative runs till September 20 with special camps in every constituency offering online solutions for land-related problems
The Bihar government has started the Revenue Maha Abhiyan in the whole of Bihar. Under this Maha Abhiyan which will run till 20th September, special camps will be set up in every constituency. Through these camps, people will be able to get online solution to their land related problems. The aim of this initiative is to bring transparency in land related documents.
What will happen during the campaign?
The revenue personnel will go to the homes of the citizens and give them a copy of the online jamabandi and will also record important information like mobile number. While receiving the copy of the jamabandi, the citizens will have to sign the receipt. During this time, if any error or incomplete information is found in any jamabandi, then the citizens will be able to get it corrected by submitting the application form and necessary documents at the same time. The mutation form will also be made available in the name of the heirs of the property whose owner has died. Similarly, a separate form will also be available for the properties which have been divided. Those whose jamabandi has not been done online yet, they will also be able to get it done online by filling its form during the campaign.
What facilities will be available in the camp?
Camps will be organized in every Halka area under the supervision of revenue personnel. In these camps, personnel will be present with laptops so that the application can be registered online immediately. At the time of application, citizens will have to give their name, father's name, mobile number and address. After confirmation from the OTP sent on the mobile, the registration will be registered on the Biharbhumi portal. After this, the application number will be received on the mobile so that people can track the status of their application. During this, if any error or incomplete document is found in any application, it will be returned. Citizens will be able to login and correct it and submit it again.
The date of distribution of letters in every village, the names of the team members and the place of the camp will be available on the Biharbhumi portal.
