Bihar Police Commission Announces Recruitment for 24 Forest Field Officer Positions
Online Applications Open May 1-June 1 with Selection Process Including Written Exams, Interview and Physical Test for Candidates with Science or Agriculture Degrees;
Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission, Patna has issued an advertisement for recruitment to a total of 24 vacant posts of "Field Officer of Forests" in the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of Bihar. The process of online application for this will start from 1 May 2025 and the last date to fill the form is 1 June 2025.
Educational Qualification
Candidates who have a bachelor's degree in at least one subject from Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent can apply for these posts.
The selection process will be completed in three stages. These include written examination, interview and physical standard test.
The written examination to be conducted in the first phase will have two papers. The first paper will be of General Hindi exam of 100 marks, which will have 50 multiple choice questions, in which minimum 30 percent marks are mandatory. 0.2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
The second paper will be of General Studies, which will have a total of 100 multiple choice questions related to general knowledge and current issues, general science, civics, Indian history, Indian geography, mathematics and mental ability test, the total marks for which will be 300 marks and the duration of the exam will be two hours. 03 marks will be given for each correct answer and 0.3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The second stage will be an interview. In the interview, the overall personality of the candidates and their eligibility for appointment to the post of Area Officer of Forests will be assessed. The total marks of the interview will be 50. The marks obtained in the interview will be added to the marks obtained in the written examination and the merit list will be prepared on the basis of the sum of both. There will be a physical strength test in the third stage. Application Process :
