Bihar Revenue Minister Sanjay Sarawagi to Review Land Records Digitization in Muzaffarpur, Champaran Districts
Three-day inspection tour from June 6-13 to assess revenue collection, mutation cases, and Abhiyan Basera 2 progress while emphasizing transparency and technical efficiency;

Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sanjay Saraogi will conduct an in-depth review of the works related to revenue and land reforms in Muzaffarpur on Friday, June 6. In the same sequence, Minister Shri Saraogi will review in West Champaran on June 12 and in East Champaran on June 13. During this, he will review the schemes related to the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, the status of revenue collection, execution of cases of mutation and refinement plus, the status of Abhiyan Basera 2, the progress of land survey and the effectiveness of digital services.
Departmental Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh will also be present in the review meeting in Muzaffarpur. Secretary Shri Jai Singh will be present in the review meeting in East Champaran and West Champaran. Additional District Magistrate (Revenue), all Land Reforms Deputy District Magistrates and Circle Officers as well as representatives of technical units will also be present in the review meeting. During this, the zonal status will be assessed on the speedy execution of pending cases in various revenue courts, the status of other important services including e-measurement.
Minister Shri Sarawagi has been emphasizing on the need to increase transparency, accountability and technical efficiency in departmental work. He is conducting district-wise review to know the ground reality of the schemes. The objective of this review is to make service delivery more effective so that the general public can get revenue and land reform related services without any hassle.
