Bihar Sanskrit Board Finalizes Arrangements for Madhyama Examination 2026
Over 23,600 candidates to appear at 59 centres across Bihar from March 16–19; strict monitoring to ensure transparent and cheating-free exams.
An important meeting was held at the Board office regarding the smooth and peaceful conduct of the Madhyama Examination 2026, organized by the Bihar Sanskrit Education Board. The meeting was chaired by Board Chairman Mrityunjay Kumar Jha. Detailed discussions were held at the meeting regarding exam preparations, arrangements at examination centers, and transparent conduct.
It was informed at the meeting that the Madhyama Examination 2026 will be held from March 16 to March 19, 2026. The examination will be conducted in two shifts daily, ensuring that all candidates have the opportunity to appear in a well-organized environment.
Board Chairman Mrityunjay Kumar Jha, while stating that the purity and transparency of the examination are the top priority, said that it is the Board's primary responsibility to conduct the examination in a cheating-free, peaceful, and disciplined environment. To this end, instructions have been given to ensure the necessary administrative and academic arrangements at all examination centers.
It was also decided at the meeting that the Board has appointed supervisors to specifically monitor the examination. These supervisors will inspect various examination centers to monitor the examination arrangements and immediately inform the Board of any irregularities.
Necessary guidelines have also been issued to examination center superintendents and room inspectors. They have been instructed to exercise utmost vigilance in the entry of candidates, seating arrangements, security of question papers, and collection of answer sheets. The Board has emphasized the need to ensure timely and disciplined conduct of examinations at all centers.
Officials present at the meeting assured that all necessary preparations have been completed and adequate arrangements have been made to ensure no inconvenience during the examination.
Finally, the Board Chairman appealed for cooperation from all center superintendents, teachers, and administrative officials, stating that through everyone's collective efforts, the Madhyama Examination 2026 will be conducted peacefully, transparently, and successfully.
This year, a total of 23,612 candidates are appearing for the Madhyama Examination 2026. For conducting the Madhyama examination, the examination will be conducted at a total of 59 examination centres across Bihar.
The evaluation of answer sheets of Madhyama examination 2026 has been scheduled from 28-03-2026 at two evaluation centres located in Patna. The publication of the result is likely in the second week of April-2026.
In the board meeting on Thursday, Mrs. Nivedita Singh, Honorable Legislative Councilor, Mr. Vinay Kumar Chaudhary, Honorable MLA, Mr. Durgesh Kumar Rai, Mr. Chandra Kishore Kumar, Mr. Dhaneshwar Prasad Kushwaha, Mr. Anuranjan Jha, Mr. Arun Kumar Jha, Dr. Shivlochan Jha, representative of Vice Chancellor, Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Secretary of the Board, Mr. Neeraj Kumar and Controller of Examinations, Mr. Upendra Kumar were present.
