Today, on 29 May 2025, sewing machines were given to women of Jehanabad, Patna, Begusarai, Masaurhi in Vigrahpur. Gaurav Rai said that women were selected for self-employment and today they were given sewing machines so that they can become self-reliant and do something for their family. On this occasion, Mr. Deepak Thakur, businessman and social worker, Mr. Rajiv Bhardwaj, Executive Director, Container Corporation of India, Ministry of Railways and Preeti Priya, Founder of Bhumihar Mahila Samaj were present in this ceremony. Mr. Deepak Thakur said that it was very nice to come to this program and he will also join Gaurav Rai's initiative. By making women self-reliant, the evils and unemployment prevalent in the society can be fought and poverty can be eradicated. Mr. Rajiv Bhardwaj said that everyone cannot be given a government job, but by opening sewing and cutting training centers in this way, women will become self-reliant and will be able to create employment by living in their village. He said that such programs should be organized at every block level. Through this volunteer work, the new skill development scheme will get a boost. Preeti Priya stressed on more such programs and talked about involving more and more women. Gaurav Rai said that one of his objectives is to make women self-reliant and create employment. Till date, 224 women and daughters have been given sewing machines by him, his family and friends in Bihar. Gaurav Rai said that very soon 25 sewing machines will be given to the needy. People are supporting him and he hopes that instead of asking for help from the government, it is better that we find such needy people together and the effort to bring a change in their standard of living will continue in the future as well. Gaurav Rai honored the guests present by giving them clothes and thanked Shri Dilkhush Kumar, Sandeep Kumar Guwahati, Rakesh Kumar ji Gaya who had gifted sewing machines.
