British F-35 Fighter Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Thiruvananthapuram Due to Low Fuel

A British F-35 fighter jet made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on Saturday night after the pilot reported low fuel, according to sources cited by PTI.
The aircraft, which is believed to have taken off from an aircraft carrier, landed safely at around 9:30 p.m. Airport authorities quickly declared an emergency to ensure a smooth and safe landing.
“The pilot requested permission to land due to low fuel. Everything was handled efficiently and professionally,” a source said.
The jet is currently parked at the airport, and refueling will take place once clearance is granted by the relevant Central government authorities, the sources added.
