Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Inspects Mithapur-Mahuli Elevated Road and Punpun Suspension Bridge Construction
Kumar directs expedited completion of four-lane elevated corridor with service roads while reviewing beautification work at Punpun Ghat for improved Pinddaan facilities;

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar today inspected the construction work of Mithapur-Mahuli four-lane elevated road. During this, he stopped at the Mithapur flyover roundabout and took detailed information from the officials. The officials told the Chief Minister that the Mithapur-Mahuli elevated will be constructed from above the Sipara bridge and will meet here. The Mithapur-Mahuli four-lane elevated road will have service roads on both sides near the Mithapur railway crossing.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that the remaining work of the Mithapur-Mahuli elevated path should be completed expeditiously. This will facilitate people in commuting, people will also get relief from the traffic jam on the bypass. People going to Patna and outside Patna will also get a lot of convenience.
After this, the Chief Minister took stock of the construction work of the Punpun Suspension Bridge. The Chief Minister also went to the Punpun Ghat and also took stock of the beautification work done there. The Chief Minister enquired about the well-being of the people present there. During this, people thanked the Chief Minister for getting the suspension bridge constructed and the beautification work of Punpun Ghat done and said that you have transformed this area. You have left no stone unturned for the development of the area. The Chief Minister said that now people will be able to reach Punpun Ghat easily and they will be able to perform Pinddaan. All their facilities have been taken care of. He said that we have an old attachment with this area. We have always been coming here. We are constantly engaged in work for the convenience of the people.
The Chief Minister stopped near the crossing point underpass of Bihta-Sarmera Path and Patna-Gaya-Dobhi Path in Mahuli and inspected the service road under construction. During this, the officials said that with the construction of this service road, Bihta-Sarmera Path will be linked to Patna-Gaya-Dobhi Path.
The Chief Minister also took stock of the condition of Patna-Gaya old path.
During the inspection, Legislative Councilor Shri Ravindra Prasad Singh, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Deepak Kumar, Special Officer to the Chief Minister Shri Gopal Singh, District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited Shri Shirshat Kapil Ashok, Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Avkash Kumar and other senior officers were present.
