CM Nitish Kumar Inspects Home and Disaster Management Departments at Patel Bhawan

Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar reached Patel Bhawan and inspected the Home Department and Disaster Management Department and gave necessary instructions to the officials.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with senior officials in his room in the Home Department on the second floor of Patel Bhawan and took information about the work being done for the improvement of law and order and policing activity of the state. During the inspection, the Chief Minister said that everyone should come to the office on time and settle their work in a better way. People have full faith in the police, live up to it. Work with full diligence to maintain better law and order.

The Chief Minister also visited the State Emergency Operations Center and took information about the arrangements and working methods there. During this, Development Commissioner cum Additional Chief Secretary of Disaster Management Department, Shri Pratyaya Amrit, while giving information about the working method of the State Emergency Operations Center, said that this center operates 24 hours. Information about the weather, temperature and various disaster related activities of the state is available from this center. The Chief Minister said that this is a very useful center. Keep operating it in a better way so that the people of the state keep getting its benefits.

The Chief Minister inspected various parts of Bihar State Disaster Management Authority situated on the 5th floor. During this, the Chief Minister also inspected Bihar State Disaster Management Authority and Conference Hall. The Chief Minister held a meeting with the Vice President, Member and senior officers of Bihar State Disaster Management Authority in the conference hall and inquired about the work of Disaster Management Authority. During this, he said that all of you should keep working in a better way to save the people of the state from disaster. A video song made for public awareness to prevent fire was also presented before the Chief Minister.
