CM Yogi to Review Deepotsav Preparations in Ayodhya on October 8
Administration gears up for grand October 19 celebration; coronation of Lord Ram, Ramlilas from abroad to highlight festivities.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will review preparations for the Deepotsav festival in Ayodhya on October 8.
The district's in-charge minister and state Agriculture Minister, Surya Pratap Shahi, will be present with him. The district administration, the Ayodhya Tirtha Vikas Parishad, the Tourism Department, the Ayodhya Research Institute, and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University have jointly finalised preparations to make the Deepotsav a grand and divine event.
All the departments will present their preparations to the Chief Minister. The famous Deepotsav in Ayodhya will be celebrated on October 19. The Deepotsav begins three days prior at various locations in the district.
On the third and final day, tableaux depicting the life of Lord Ram depart from Kamta Prasad Sunder Lal Saket College in Ayodhya at 10 am. These captivating tableaux proceed to Ramkatha Park, where Ayodhya residents shower flowers on the tableaux along the Rampath.
Toran gates are erected at various locations. The main event of Deepotsav is held at Rampadi and to mark the places for placing lamps on the ghats of Rampadi has been completed. Lord Shri Ram, along with Mother Sita, brother Lakshman and his most devoted Hanuman, arrives on a flying chariot at the Ramkatha Park helipad.
CM Yogi welcomes the guests at the helipad, and the coronation of Lord Shri Ram takes place at Ramkatha Park. Saints, Mahants, religious leaders of Ayodhya and all the residents of Ayodhya participate in the coronation ceremony.
After the coronation of Lord Shri Ram, the main aspects of Lord Shri Ram's life are displayed at Ram ki Paidi through Deepotsav, fireworks and technology based lighting. After this, Ramlilas from various countries are staged on the stage of Ramkatha Park, which is also watched by CM.
